Information

The hugely successful sequel to Famicom Tantei Club. You once again play as Anata who overhears two policemen talking about a murder by the river. It sets out that Anata's friend Ayumi was friends with the girl, and so the two set off the solve the mystery behind the murder.

This game plays much the same as the original Tantei Club, where you control the action with a command menu, and the action is illustrated throughout. As you gather clues by examining scenes and interrogating people, you can put the clues together yourself to proceed.

• Re-released as part of the Famicom Mini collection as Famicom Tantei Club Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo (GBA 2004).
• Remake available in Japan for download over the Nintendo Power system as Famicom Tantei Club Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo (SNES 1998) with updated graphics and sound.
